There’s a shelf in my workshop that’s starting to fill up
with thank you cards.
Not emails. Not reviews. Actual cards — handwritten,
sent in the post, from patients who’ve taken the time
to say thanks for their new dentures. It’s not
something I expected when I set up Romford Denture
Clinic, but it’s become one of my favourite parts of the
job.
I think it comes down to what I do differently. Every
denture that leaves my workshop is handmade by me
— no shortcuts, no machines, no outsourcing to a lab
I’ve never seen. Just 40 years of experience and a lot
of care going into every single fit. When someone gets
that right, they notice. And it seems a fair few of them
want to say so.
One card I received last month simply said: “First time
in years I’ve been able to smile properly. Thank you,
Scott.” That’s the kind of thing that makes the early
starts and the fiddly adjustments worth it.
